We have been going for at least 30 years... the food is fresh, tasty and abundant! The staff is great...Tony, Joseph and all the wait staff are helpful , professional and polite! We love Bamboo! The decor is tasteful as well.... Even the bathrooms are kept sparkly clean! They are always open to special requests, additions and omissions ! Please try it.... Best Chinese food around.... Private party room as well.... You can't ask for more....if Szechwan Chinese is what you like...mild or spicy , to your perfection! They deliver and accommodate private parties as well! We've been going to Bamboo for over 20 years and since we moved away, we drive two hours to get back to the best Chinese food we've ever had. The new co-owner, Crystal, is so hospitable and returned several times to our table to see that everything was perfect. We are always happy to see Joyce and Denny. It's like going to a friend's house but that friend serves amazing Chinese food! Honey Walnut Shrimp, Aloha fried rice, Orange Beef, Chicken wings appetizer and Salt and Pepper Scallops. Amazing amazing amazing!!! Huge portions, and there's always enough to take home This is a beautiful restaurant. I would've posted pictures, but we ate it all before I thought of it. 5 well deserved stars !!!!!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Bamboo Cuisine in Sherman Oaks. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was very good. Phillip, our server, did a great job--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. My friend and I ordered the shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, beef and broccoli, and we were blown away by the level of quality in the meat and the flavor of the food. The shrimp fried rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the orange chicken was crispy, and the kung pao chicken had just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend Bamboo Cuisine for anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine in Sherman Oaks!

This is the best Chinese food in all of Sherman Oaks--and believe me, I have looked. I moved here from having spent my entire life being surrounded by good Chinese food, and I was depressed at the lack of options. Until I found Bamboo Cuisine. This place does Chinese food the right way, authentically and super fresh! It's a little bit more upscale/pricier than your local Chinese takeout spots--but the price you pay is absolutely reflected in the quality of the food. I love that it's also family-owned, and the servers actually speak Chinese (and obviously, English)--which is important to me. I came here on Lunar New Year once as I was feeling home sick, and was so touched at their good mood, and accommodation. They ended up sending me home with a complimentary quart of soup, which was so kind! My usual orders are Yang Chow Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Bamboo Chicken, Beef & Broccoli--but truly everything I've had here is delicious and authentic. I order from them at least once a week!

The food here is delicious and the serving sizes are enormous. The place itself has a very family-friendly vibe and you can tell this place has been around a while (for good reason!).

We were craving good classic Chinese food and luckily found Bamboo Cuisine. It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was full. This is a clean, casual and well kept restaurant. The servers are extremely kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We were two people and ordered: Chicken Soft Noodle, Juicy Steamed Pork Dumpling, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Cream cheese wontons. All were extremely delicious. The portions are generously very large. Needless to say, we took lots of food home! It's difficult to find street parking but fortunately they validate valet parking for a small fee. Love this place and will definitely be back.

One of the best Chinese food that I ever had till date. We ordered the Three flavor Sizzling Rice Soup (they made it vegetarian for us), Assorted Mushrooms, Hot Szechuan Bean Curd ( the Tofu was so soft that it just melted in our mouths, too good!) and Eggplant in Brown Sauce that came with side dishes of both white and brown rice. Every dish was very good. The staff were very friendly and courteous. They kept checking on us from time to time. Ambience was cozy. Will visit this place again for sure!
